Our accomodations are closed to the Highways A46, A59 and A3. By bus you go 2 stops to Vennhauser Allee, from where you will be then within about 15 - 20 minutes in the city center (Altstadt Düsseldorf).
The old town called "Altstadt" is the historical, political and cultural center of the capital of Düsseldorf. In the district are inter alia the City Hall, the art collection North Rhine-Westphalia and the Düsseldorf Art Academy. Large parts of the old town are pedestrian area with many local shops and eateries. In half a square kilometer are clotted over 300 pubs, clubs and restaurants. The historic town in the "Altbier Song" sung reputation of the "longest bar in the world" is entered. The front of the old town to the Rhine forms the Rhine promenade.
The Media Harbour called "Medienhafen" has long been perceived not as a district, since a large part was industrial area. Over time, many companies have settled there from the media and advertising industries, as well as fashion and design companies. A multiplex cinema, restaurants, a nightclub, metropolitan area clubs and lounges also provide a lively nightlife.
If you won't drive so far after a busy day, the center of Eller has a lot to offer. Here you will find, for example, an international cuisine. From a Chinese take, Italian bistros, Thai cuisine or a Bosnian restaurant. In the pub/restaurant "Fuchsjagd" guests can enjoy a delicious glass of home-brewed dark beer called "Füchschen" or enjoy the traditional German cuisine.
On the Gumbertstraße, our shopping street, is where you can shop for your daily needs. For extra freshness makes our weekly market on the Gertrudisplatz.
To relax we have our beautiful Eller Castle with its beautiful park, which merges into the "Eller Forst". Through the loose forest, cover many walking and biking trails. Also there is the "Unterbacher See" lake with two beaches. From the panoramic terrace with restaurant you look directly at the boat rental.
Düsseldorf's main station will be reached in about 20 minutes. It has about 250,000 passengers a day and is one of the busiest main stations in Germany. At the main station is an underground station integrated. With them you will enjoy a dense network of trams, they bring you quickly to your desired destination.
Approx. 30 minutes takes to drive to Dusseldorf DUS Airport (formerly Dusseldorf International). In the third largest airport in Germany, you will find a beautiful shopping area where you can still fast for a few souvenirs to take home before departure.
Within about 40 minutes by subway you will reach the exhabition. Covering an area of 306 888 square meters extend 19 halls in which are held regularly at least 28 fairs per year. Among these are, for example, the boot Düsseldorf, Caravan Show, drupa, K and the Medica.
Closed to the exhabition is the ESPRIT arena. This is a multi-purpose arena where the football club "Fortuna Düsseldorf" receives his opponents for home games. The ESPRIT arena is with over 54 thousand spectators, the third largest football stadium in North Rhine-Westphalia and the eighth largest in Germany.
